I have spent the last 16 years working in media, and in the last five of those I have enjoyed working with video advertising. I started five years ago working with very big screens at music festivals and arenas, and spend the last two and a half years working with online video. From 2010, I will be working with both online video and mobile, so although the screens are definitely getting smaller, the passion and excitement is growing almost by the week. Incidentally, I worked in press for most of the other eleven years, apart from a two year stint running my own advertising agency. I currently head up video and mobile advertising for Telegraph Media Group in London, and sit on the IAB Video Council steering group.
I decided to start a blog in order to air my thoughts and beliefs, and to engage with like-minded professionals who are as passionate about our future as I am.
